Chimichurri is a popular Argentinian recipe, which can be used as a sauce or a marinade. Quick and easy to make, with just a few ingredients, it’s perfect to add flavour to grilled meat and fish.
Ingredients
- 80ml olive oil
- 2 tbsp. red wine vinegar
- A handful of flat leaf parsley (approx. 20g)
- 3 clove garlic, roughly chopped
- 1 red chilli, deseeded & roughly chopped
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- Coarse salt & ground black pepper, to taste
Preparation
- Using the Cordless Pro Hand Blender, place all the ingredients into the mini chopper attachment and process, until you have a chunky sauce.
- Serve with grilled meats, such as lamb, or use as a marinade.
Tip: Allowing the sauce to sit for a couple of hours, before serving, will develop the flavours.
