Tenderstem broccoli originated in Japan and is packed full of key nutrients with much higher Vitamin A content than its european cousin your usual broccoli! Grill them to retain all the goodness with this quick recipe on our entertaining grill.
Ingredients
- 400g tenderstem broccoli
- 1 tsp chilli flakes
- Salt and black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 30g parmesan, finely grated
Preparation
- Preheat both sides of the entertaining grill to 200ºC.
- Wash the broccoli, drain and trim any woody ends. Slice the broccoli stems in half lengthways.
- Place in a bowl and season with the chilli, salt, pepper and olive oil. Combine well.
- Once up to temperature spread the broccoli evenly over the grill and cook for approximately 8 to 10 minutes, turning occasionally until softened and slightly crisp.
- Sprinkle with the grated parmesan and serve.
