Seafood Teppanyaki

Seafood Teppanyaki is a mixed dish of fresh fish, vegetables and noodles all cooked together on the grill.

It's easy to make on our Entertaining Grill and makes a great choice for a mid-week meal or a weekend treat.

Ingredients

For the Seafood

  • 300g squid tubes, cleaned & patted dry
  • 12 raw king prawns with shells on
  • Small handful of coriander, chopped
  • 1 tbsp ground nut oil
  • Juice of 1 lime

For the Noodles

  • 300g pre-cooked thick noodles
  • 4 spring onions, finely sliced
  • 4 small Thai red chillies, finely sliced, seeds removed
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp groundnut oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • Juice of 1 lime

To Serve

  • Lime wedges
  • Coriander leaves

Preparation

  1. In a bowl combine the squid, prawns, coriander, ground nut oil and lime juice. Allow to marinade in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  2. In a bowl toss the noodles with the spring onions, red chillies, soy sauce, ground nut oil, sesame oil and lime juice.
  3. Pre-heat the Entertaining Grill to 220ºC on both sides.
  4. Place the squid and prawns on one side of the Entertaining Grill. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes and then turn and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Whilst the seafood is cooking, place the prepared noodles onto the other side of the Entertaining Grill and cook for approximately 4 minutes, turning occasionally until they begin to brown.
  6. Serve with lime wedges and coriander leaves.
