Add some extra flavour to your pizza, pasta, or roasted vegetables with this quick & easy Italian seasoning recipe.
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp dried basil
- 2 tbsp dried oregano
- 2 tbsp dried rosemary
- 2 tbsp dried marjoram
- 2 tbsp dried thyme
- 2 tbsp red pepper flakes
Preparation
- Blend: Add all ingredients to a spice grinder and pulse a few times until the rosemary and red pepper flakes are slightly broken down (but not too fine).
- Store: Transfer to an airtight jar and keep in a cool, dry place for long-lasting freshness.
- How to Use Italian Seasoning: Sprinkle over pizza, pasta, or roasted vegetables. Mix into homemade tomato sauce or salad dressings. Rub onto chicken, fish, or steak for an herby crust.
